Please note the corrected date in the posting on the November Minnesota Chapter Solo meeting below. The “Thursday” part was correct, but it is actually taking place on the FIFTEENTH, not the FOURTEENTH. All other details remain the same. Sorry for the confusion…

The SLA MN Solo group will be meeting Thursday, 11/15 at noon at Donaldson Company in Bloomington.
Our topic will be E-books and E-readers in special libraries. Jim Byerly from the MN-DOT Library will be there to discuss their experiences with these technologies.
Donaldson Company is on the NW corner of 35W and West 94th Street in Bloomington. There are several buildings on the campus, but we are meeting in the one closest to the intersection of 35W & W. 94th. We are directly across W. 94th Street from the Holiday Inn. So if you exit from 35W, head West and take the first right into the parking lot. Continue right, towards the front door labeled 1400. The parking spots in front of this building are all marked “visitor”, so feel free to park in any visitor spot. If for some reason they are all full, you can park in any un-numbered spot in our parking lot. There will be a receptionist at the door and you can tell her you are here to see Julie Eskritt.
Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Mike Rybak via Linkedin or e-mail
